It feels like we're just racing through the countdown and it's crazy how quickly time goes by this month.

However, I hope you're having as much fun as I am having.
Getting to share all of these amazing videos with you makes me so happy and I'm just so glad that quite a lot of you join us every single day.

What is #HITSBC17?
HITSBC17 stands for house in the sand's Birthday Countdown 2017.
Throughout the entire month of February, we are going to celebrate house in the sand's fifth birthday.
(Because why celebrate on one day, if you can celebrate for an entire month, right?)
With the support from some of the finest artists and bands around, each day in February will be filled with an exclusive performance just for us.

Who is performing today?
Jess Kemp.
She is a singer/songwriter from Manchester, UK.
Her sound neatly ties together Acoustic, Folk and Pop, creating a refreshing and energetic style.

Jess started making music as a teenager and has been a part of Manchester's lively music scene ever since.
By gigging non-stop and releasing her debut single "Stars" in March 2015, Jess has managed to build herself a loyal fanbase.
Her debut EP "Camden" didn't just convince her fans, it also got the support of BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 2.
Touring Europe in 2016 inspired Jess' upcoming track "Vondelpark" which will be released on March 10th.

What needs to be said about this performance?
It showcases Jess' exciting and refreshing sound so perfectly.
Even though it's an acoustic version, you'll realise her sound has more layers to it and if you're a bit like me, you'll end up tapping your feet.
(If you're a lot like me, you'll end up doing all the Dad dance moves.)
